What's Allotropy?
That’s al·lot·ro·pe. It's the existence of an element in multiple forms, and in this case – amazing contemporary art. Primary Colours' Allotropy 2008 is a juried art event that combines a variety of artistic mediums with musical performances in a disused space. Come see the work of 22 Indiana artists on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 from 5-11 p.m. This year’s space is a newly renovated building located at 1315 Shelby St., right in the heart of Fountain Square.

50 Words with our Allotropy Jurors
In this edition of art | action, find out a little more about two of our Allotropy jurors: Brad Bernard, Lori Miles and Mark Ruschman. They were tremendous in helping us select the exhibiting artists for this year's event. Thanks so much!
Also, we'd like to thank Chef Brad Gates and the folks at Tavern at the Temple for generously providing our jury with a sumptuous meal.
