It's Back!
The one, the only, Indy’s original Allotropy returns this spring. This large-scale juried art event combines a variety of artistic mediums with musical performances. We’ve set the date, April 25-26, 2008. Look for more details and a Call to Artists in the coming weeks.
Got Space ?
Part of the challenge to planning Allotropy is scouting out vacant or unutilized office or retail space to host the event. If you have a hot lead on such a space, give us a shout.
Closing the Lid on TOYS
Thanks so much to all who attended and supported our holiday event, TOYS 2007 last month. The soiree was a huge success, and we’re glad so many turned out. We’re also extremely pleased to report that you donated 103 pounds of dry pasta to the good folks at Second Helpings. Check out the recap of all the festivities, including a photo gallery.
50 Words with Brian Myers
This edition of art | action features a new, uh, well...feature. To give you a better understanding of who Primary Colours is and who we serve, we'll start peppering this newsletter with short profiles. First up is both a talented local artist and newly elected Board Secretary of Primary Colours, Brian Myers. Read his profile here.

A Declaration of IndyPendence
In addition to her valuable help at this year's TOYS show, Nora Spitznogle also bought Kipp Normand's piece! She's featured below in the Arts Council of Indianapolis' Be Indypendent campaign. Be like Nora. Support local artists!
