Brush up Your Professional Skills

Summer brings a new series of free workshops for the emerging and professional artist. In our fifth year partnering with the Arts Council of Indianapolis, we proudly present the following sessions:

• July 1 - The Complete Portfolio
• July 15 - Alternative Spaces in a Changing Art Scene
• July 29 - Artist Public Relations - Visual and Performing Artists

All workshops will take place at the Arts Council of Indianapolis, located at 20 N. Meridian St., Ste. 500 (map). (Parking is available in the Circle Center Mall or on the street on Monument Circle or Meridian St.) All workshops begin at 6 p.m. and are FREE.

Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP to Hugh Vandivier promptly at hugh@primarycolours.org.

Installation Nation was a great success, but we want to make next year's event even better. If you came to our inaugural show, you can still tell us what you think. We'll use the feedback to improve the event and the demographic information for grants and sponsors.

Art vs. Art 2009 will be here before you know it. We're nailing down the Paint Day site and The Vogue is on board to host the Main Event on Friday, Sept. 25. Watch our Web site for upcoming artist pre-registration details.
