"And winter, slumbering in the open air, Wears on his smiling face a dream of spring." - Samuel Taylor Coleridge*
Greetings art lovers! Lest you think we've been in hibernation, quite the opposite. The promise of spring brings loads of new offerings. Such as...
New Boss
We're happy to announce the addition of our first paid staff member. Hugh Vandivier took over as our new executive director on Feb. 1, and he has some great ideas for Primary Colours. (He's that tall, red-headed guy you've seen at our events. Yeah, that one.) To learn more about Hugh, click here.
New Event
We've heard you asking to feature more installation art, so we're planning an event for early June called InstallationNation.
- If you have an installation idea you'd like to propose, make sure you're on our Artist E-mail List. We'll send the details shortly.
- Know of a great vacant space that could host the event? Let us know at info@primarycolours.org.
- What's installation art, you ask? Click here.
New Web Initiatives

We've joined Twitter to keep you up to date on what's happening, both with PC and with Art vs. Art. We have also created a Cause page on Facebook. It provides an easy and secure means to support us.
We're also in the process of revamping the PC Web site to provide more timely and updated information, to make information easier to find, and to generate real discussion. If you have any ideas about what you'd like to see more of (or less of), just drop us line.
New Commitment
Let's face it. Times are tough. And we're even more convinced that Indianapolis needs good art and artists. Show your support for both by helping support Primary Colours.
We can always use help planning and executing our events. Wanna help create a scene? Contact us!
Your financial support is also greatly needed and appreciated. Gifts are tax-deductible, and you get some cool stuff besides. You can give online at our Web site via PayPal. Or send to Primary Colours. 212 W. 10th Street, Suite A380, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Thanks so much for your support of the arts!
