Installation Nation Returns!
Our newest event, Installation Nation, returns this June. Once again we're inviting all contemporary artists coast to coast with experience in creating installation art to submit proposals. A jury will select seven projects, and we'll give them each $750 to create their vision within the confines of a 20-foot metal shipping container. Applications are available now. You have until Tuesday, April 27 (5 p.m. EDT) to submit them.
- Think you have a great installation idea? Download an application here.
- Questions? Submit them as Comments here or fire off an e-mail to Dane Sauer.

A Bunch of A-Holes
Recently, Primary Colours road tripped to Columbus, OH. We, and 17 other arts groups, were invited by our friends at Couchfire Collective to each construct a hole for a miniature golf course. Dubbed "A-Holes," the event brought in close to 550 people to putt through fun and challenging obstacles.
- Fresh video from the A-Holes event.
- Check out pix from construction or our pirate ship for Hole #10 and scenes from the event.

An Audacious Cause
A year ago, amid a deep recession, Primary Colours had the audacity to hire its first paid staff member and fulfill a longtime goal of founders Jeff Martin and Fred Shields. I had the audacity to accept.
Since then, my cohorts and I have reached out to artists, patrons, and neophytes alike. We have created a brand new art experience, increased audience interaction, and collaborated with some incredible organizations and companies.
A year later, I am convinced Primary Colours is part of a movement by dedicated people to overcome inertia and enrich our culture. As Kurt Vonnegut, once wrote, "Participation in an art...is a way to make one's soul grow."
I invite you to join the movement and cultivate your soul. In addition to your ardent participation, a tax-deductible gift to Primary Colours directly helps us fulfill our mission both here in Indianapolis and throughout the Midwest. With the second annual box-busting Installation Nation around the corner, we encourage your gift of $75 to help defray the cost of providing shipping containers for the artwork.
- You can give securely online at our Web site via PayPal.
- Or send a check to Primary Colours. 212 W. 10th Street, Suite A380, Indianapolis, IN. 46202.
- If you're on Facebook, you can give via our Cause page: Support Primary Colours.
Thanks to all of you for making this cause so fulfilling.

Executive Director
