TOYS Brings Chutzpah to the Holidays

We're excited to bring back TOYS, the 7th installment of our invitational holiday art exhibit.

  • ArtBox Gallery (Stutz II Building - 217 West 10th St. Suite 125)
  • Friday, December 4, 2009 from 5 to 11 p.m.
  • Free admission
  • Food and beverages
  • Bring dry pasta to help our friends at Second Helpings feed the hungry; last time, you brought in 103 pounds!

This year's showcase features 20 artists producing one piece of art fashioned around the theme of toys. They are free to interpret the theme however they see fit, and artists keep 100% of the sale proceeds.

People Really Do Win

Just ask Alyssa Starr, a grad student at IUPUI. She attended Art vs. Art, bought a painting, had a blast, and filled out our audience survey.

We randomly chose her out of all the completed surveys to win dinner for two at Brugge Brasserie in Broad Ripple.

Congratulations, Alyssa!

YOU are Indy Arts

  • The artist who constructed and exhibited her first installation piece.
  • The sculpture artist who learned how to develop a killer portfolio at a free workshop and was noticed by a gallery.
  • The lawyer and her husband, a civic engineer, who bought a painting for their living room.
  • The marketing manager who painted in this year's Art vs. Art after having such a good time last year.

These are just a few stories we've observed throughout the year. They're people of all types who the arts affect directly. Primary Colours takes very seriously its mission of showcasing and educating emerging artists and developing arts audiences. You help us bring people to, and benefit from, the visual arts by attending our innovative events. But you can also help our cause more directly with a contribution.

Gifts are tax deductible, and you get some cool stuff besides.

  • You can give online at our Web site via PayPal.
  • Or send to Primary Colours. 212 W. 10th Street, Suite A380, Indianapolis, IN. 46202.
  • If you're on Facebook, you can give securely on our Cause page: Support Primary Colours.

We greatly appreciate the support you give us.

There are so many ways you can help. Just drop us line.
