The Dust Settles
This year's Art vs. Art featured record attendence and an unprecedented twist of irony. We’re very proud to say that we sold more art than ever at this year’s Art vs. Art: $5,400 worth from 47 pieces, to be exact. We even sold the Tree of Death!
We’d also like to give one more big Thank You to our generous sponsors of this year’s event. Special thanks go to Bonnie Mill, Pricilla Erickson of the Fountain Square Theatre, DJ Paren, CAB Sound, and Mike Wiltrout for a great show.
Watch the video recap, or download the final PDF bracket for a complete blow-by-blow.
Wanna Win an iPod?
If you attended this year’s Art vs. Art, you have until noon on Monday, October 8 to fill out an online survey and be entered in a drawing for a free iPod. Enter here.
'Tis the Season (Almost)
Christmas always seems to come earlier each year, especially when you’re planning this year’s TOYS Invitational Exhibition. Mark your calendars for Friday, November 30. Once we get the location secured, we’ll post it on the Web site. Here are some pictures from last year’s event via INtake.
IndyFringe Wrapup
Once again, we were pleased to help support the Indianapolis Theatre Fringe Festival. This year’s Fringe Mob became a staged protest rally…about nothing. Check out the pix and video of the "No-test." Thanks to everyone who brought some art, took some art, and told us why they liked the art at the Home for Orphaned Art exhibit. Here you can find some of the pictures you took and some of the comments you made.
Help us Support Art and Artists
Why not give to a great, innovative Indy nonprofit arts organization? Your gift is tax-deductible, and you get some cool stuff besides. Check it out.
You can donate online at our Web site via PayPal. We sincerely thank those of you who have—or are about to—give to Primary Colours. We really appreciate it.
We’re always looking for fellow artists and art aficionados to help with our committees and events. Interested? Contact us.
