Are You a Contender?

Reserve your spot to paint in this year's Art vs. Art. This year's winner-take-all purse is $3,000, and it only costs $10 to sign up. You collect 70% from the sale of your painting. In addition to Indianapolis, we're setting up Paint Days in Columbus, OH; Hammond; and Louisville.

Lineup Announced!

This year, Art vs. Art heads to Broad Ripple for the final showdown. The Main Event takes place on Sept. 26 at the Vogue Theatre with emcee Mike Wiltrout, A Squared on the turntables, and live music from Catfish Haven and Those Young Lions.

Putting Art into Action

Our mission at Primary Colours has always been to help artists and the arts community. So, when we heard that our friend and local artist Kevin Ruble underwent major surgery and, like many Americans without insurance, is faced with a mountain of medical bills, we decided to put "art | action" to practice.

Jeff Sample and Blake Boatwright are puttin' on a show to raise money for Kevin. We'd like to enlist the help of the arts community with a silent auction. What we need from you:

1. Bring a piece of your artwork before the event.
2. Indicate the starting/minimum bid.
3. We split the sale of the piece 50/50: you get half and the other half goes toward the proceeds we raise for Kevin.

If you want to participate, e-mail us or check out the page we set up.

What makes Indianapolis great is how we are a community that looks
out after its own. We hope you'll help.

Save the Arts

You've no doubt heard about proposed cuts to the city's arts budget. They're part of Indy's across-the-board belt tightening.

Now, more than ever, this city needs advocates for the arts. Click here for updates on funding and solid reasons why the arts directly contribute to a safer city, a stronger economy, and a more vibrant community.

Spare a dime for a good cause?

Being an all-volunteer notprofit, Primary Colours needs your help more than ever. Lots of help. So we ask you, do you enjoy the arts? Do you like what Primary Colours does and wanna help? We’re looking for help out with our events and committees and funding. There's so many ways you might be able to help. Just drop us line.
